Our client, an industry leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Worker - Heavy Lifter to join their team. As a Production Worker - Heavy Lifter, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Production Worker - Heavy Lifter
Location: Wilmington & Haverhill, MA
Pay Range: $16.50 - $17 an hour
Shift: 1st shift - $16.50; 2nd shift - $17
*** Please note: This role involves working in a cold-temperature environment.
What's the Job?
- Operate equipment to assist with food manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes
- Rotate between various production tasks including assembly, rolling, and packing croissants and sandwiches
- Monitor products for quality and foreign materials, notifying supervisors of any issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to GMP policies and safety standards
- Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical or material issues on the production line
What's Needed?
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in various areas of production as needed
- Ability to tolerate temperature variations, including cold and hot conditions
- Must pass drug and background screenings
