Core responsibilities

  • Process optimization: Streamline and improve sales workflows, from lead generation to closing deals, to boost efficiency.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Analyze sales data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and create reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for the sales leadership.
  • Sales technology management: Administer and optimize the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and supporting its effective use by the sales team.
  • Forecasting and planning: Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting efforts to align with overall business objectives.
  • Strategy and enablement: Partner with sales and marketing to design and implement sales strategies, and ensure the sales team has the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with departments like marketing, finance, and IT to align strategies and goals.
  • Territory management: Help define and manage sales territories and assist with compensation plan administration.
