Position Overview
The Tax Supervisor will oversee and manage the tax compliance and planning activities for the organization. This role is key in ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while providing strategic tax advice to optimize the tax position of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and review the preparation of corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on complex tax issues.
  • Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax law changes to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage tax audits, working closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance overall tax efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
