Our client is seeking a dedicated Referral Coordinator to be the vital link in efficiently connecting patients with essential home care and hospice services. Compensation $23.00 - $26.00 per hour*
*Listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range.
This is a part time position, Friday-Sunday, 8:00-5:00pm.
Candidates must be available to work onsite in Norwell, MA.

Responsibilities

• Handle communications with referral sources, ensuring accurate transfer of information.
• Evaluate referral information according to established standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate referral processing.
• Maintain thorough documentation and records.
• Foster and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Assist with resolving administrative or insurance-related issues.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest enhancements.
• Promote agency services and support outreach efforts.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in clerical support within healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with excellent keyboarding skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Highly organized, flexible, and dependable with keen attention to detail.
