Quality Control Inspector with CMM Programming - $45/hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting precision machined components and assemblies meeting specifications
• Operate and program coordinate measuring machines (CMM) using MCOSMOS software
• Performs first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges and indicators
• Inspect incoming raw materials and components from outside processing.
• Accurately, document inspection results on travelers, reports, and logs.
• Support nonconformance investigations and communicate quality issues to supervisor
• Interpret and apply GD&T standards to inspection work.
• Review engineering drawings, control plans, and customer specifications.
• Support the quality team in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 documentation
• Contribute to first-pass yield improvement and defect reduction goals

Qualifications:

• At least five years of inspection experience in a machining environment.
• Experience operating and programming CMM equipment preferably with MCOSMOS software
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with precision inspection tools including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Experience with Word and Excel
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality system documentation.

Hours:

Monday through Thursday – 6am – 4:30pm

The pay is up to $45.00 an hour
