PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
- Issued by the Internal Revenue Service
- Required for anyone who prepares or assists in preparing federal tax returns for pay
- Allows you to legally get paid for filing taxes
- Quick and easy to obtain (we guide you through it!)
EFIN (Electronic Filing Identification Number) (Optional Higher Level)
- Also issued by the IRS
- Allows you to file tax returns electronically under your own business
- Great for those who want to operate independently and scale
Income Potential (Real Example)
- Charge $450 minimum per return
- File just 50 returns = $22,500 income
