Job Title: RF Engineer

Compensation: $100K - $180K base DOE plus equity
Requirement: RF Design, Electro-Optic Modulators, Passive RF Components, mmWave, Photonics, CST / HFSS / COMSOL
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing innovative RF solutions. The ideal candidate will work on various projects involving electromagnetic simulation, RF design, and development of photonic integrated circuits. This role requires expertise in using advanced simulation tools to deliver high-performance RF components and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF components and systems using simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio and HFSS.
- Conduct electromagnetic simulations to analyze and optimize RF designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into larger systems.
- Test and validate RF designs using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and other measurement equipment.
- Research and implement new RF technologies and methodologies, especially in mmWave and photonic integrated circuits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (PhD Preferred) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an RF Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, and Comsol.
- Strong knowledge of RF passive components and RF design principles.
- Experience working with mmWave technologies and photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
- Familiarity with electro-optic modulator device design is preferred
