Salary Range: $28-38hr.+ DOECOMPANY OVERVIEWLighthouse is currently seekign a CNC Programmer for a leading manufacturer specializing in precision machining and fabrication. We are currently seeking a CNC Programmer with expertise in using the latest Mastercam software and a solid background in CNC programming, who can work effectively in a non-production environment. We are looking for a CNC Programmer with expertise in 4-5 axis CNC programming, as well as hands-on experience with a variety of CNC machines including KURAKI, HAAS, Bridgeport, Robo Drills, and more.SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program parts using the latest Mastercam software, create CNC code to fabricate a variety of parts, and contribute to process improvement efforts. This position requires a deep understanding of G-codes, M-codes, and blueprint interpretation within a machining environment.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program CNC machines, including 4-5 axis and horizontal and vertical milling centers, using Mastercam software.
- Design and detail typical CNC and manual machining fixtures using Autodesk Inventor software.
- Use blueprints to create and execute program designs.
- Assist other machinists in decreasing cycle times and increasing tool life.
- Perform work as assigned, creating route sheets and ensuring all work aligns with customers’ quality standards.
- Perform manual inspections and source inspections when customers visit the site for their own inspections.
- Keep your work area clean and organized to maintain safety and efficiency.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSEducation: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Mastercam or NX programming.
- At least 3 months of experience as a CNC machinist.
- Experience with G-code and M-code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is a plus.
- Familiarity with 5-axis programming from a model.
- Knowledge of NX and Siemens controls is a plus.
- Experience working with a variety of CNC machines, including KURAKI, HAAS, Bridgeport, Robo Drills, Wire EDM, BTL, Toyota, Matsuura, and Nigata machines.
- Experience with CMM and manual inspection techniques.
