Job Overview:
The Senior Account Manager will provide strategic consulting to clients regarding their captive insurance needs within the United States market. This role is responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting of a portfolio of captive insurance companies. The Senior Account Manager will regularly interact with professionals across a diverse client base, and will have the opportunity to support our clients with unique solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare feasibility studies for prospective captive clients
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the existing client base
- Perform all aspects of the financial reporting for client accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for individuals from various departments from the clients side, such as risk management, corporate controllership, tax and legal
- Develop processes for client services processes to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and regulatory filings
- Mentor, train, develop and support the accounting team members
- Coordinate efforts with external service providers, including actuaries, auditors, investment managers, brokers, claims adjusters and external counsel to proactively meet client needs
- Advise clients on strategies to optimize their captive insurance company and help develop solutions to complex client problems
- Prepare and deliver materials and presentation for client board meetings
- Prepare, review and file management and regulatory reports for Risk Retention Groups

- Demonstrated effectiveness in preparing and delivering presentations to clients
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong accounting knowledge and skills
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Proven experience in senior accounting/finance roles, preferably within captive management and/or insurance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience, direct captive management experience a plus
- Experience with Excel and financial accounting/general ledger accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- CPA, MBA or other financial professional certification
- Must be fluent in English, as this position interacts directly with U.S.based clients
