Job Description

We are seeking 2-3 reliable and motivated CDL Fuel Delivery Drivers to join our team as full-time employees in our commercial and residential delivery division. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting fuel to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and possess the skills necessary to operate different types of vehicles, including tankers. This is a full-time position, and the driver may be able to deploy if needed during hurricane season.

Responsibilities

Drive assigned routes to deliver fuel efficiently and safely.
Load and unload fuel as required, ensuring proper handling of items.
Operate a variety of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid CDL Class B or A with Hazmat, Tanker, and TWIC card.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
Ability to load and unload fuels safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to be safe and meet expected delivery needs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to be deployed if needed for this position.

Qualifications

Prior driving experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using a tablet for delivery routes
Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering excellent service
High school diploma or equivalent required
