About the Role: NGS Sales Specialist
Are you passionate about genomics and driven by results? As an NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) Sales Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of advancing genomic research and clinical diagnostics. This isn’t just a sales role—it’s an opportunity to make a real impact in science and healthcare.

- Be the Expert: Provide hands-on support and initial troubleshooting in the field, ensuring customers succeed from day one.

What You’ll Do:
- Drive sales growth in select locations by executing strategic plans and expanding market share.
- Identify and develop opportunities through networking, events, campaigns, and direct outreach.
- Build strong relationships with researchers, lab directors, and key decision-makers.
- Deliver impactful presentations, demos, and training to showcase NGS solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Provide hands-on support for installations, troubleshooting, and post-sales service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer experience and influence product development.
- Stay ahead of NGS trends and share insights to guide innovation and strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology or related field (MS/PhD preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years with molecular biology techniques and NGS applications.
- Strong technical knowledge of NGS workflows and data interpretation.
- Proven sales or commercial experience in Life Sciences (preferred).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Self-driven, collaborative, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel extensively (50–75%, including overnight stays).
Location: Primarily Greater Boston, plus travel to the San Francisco Bay area.
