This entry-level role offers training and the opportunity to work in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The Production Associate supports production operations for medical diagnostic test kits, ensuring all materials, tools, and resources are available to complete packaging orders. The role requires use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, and safety shoes. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or use a perch stool for extended periods. Overtime or modified schedules may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate manufacturing equipment and assist in production processes.
  • Inspect and package finished products with accuracy.
  • Verify raw materials and ensure correct components and quantities.
  • Partner with support personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Follow production procedures, area guidelines, and safety rules.
  • Comply with quality systems and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, OSHA).

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in FDA-regulated facilities, manufacturing environments, or with production equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Basic PC skills (MS Office, Outlook, Word, Documentum).
  • Comfortable with pallet jack use and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and desire to learn new processes.
