Job DescriptionPart-time (After 4:00 PM on weekdays and Saturday mornings)
Compensation: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
We are looking for an energetic, warm, and creative music mentor to introduce children aged 3 to 7 to the joy of music! Do you have some early education experience, a love for kids, a strong basic musicality, and the ability to capture a room with a song, an instrument, or a playful rhythm game? Then you would be a perfect addition to our Music Team.Because our hours are bundled into late afternoons and Saturday mornings, this is a perfect, steady side-gig for private studio teachers, local gigging musicians, college music majors, or school teachers looking to pick up high-paying extra hours.We supply the curriculum—you bring the fun!
What You'll Do:

• Lead interactive, and playful music classes and introductory rhythm classes for children aged 3 to 7.
• Use rhythm instruments, singing, storytelling, and movement games to build basic musical foundations like pitch, tempo, and beat.
• Maintain a joyful, structured, and inclusive environment where every child feels successful.

What We Are Looking For:

• A warm, high-energy presence—you are comfortable being animated, playful, and patient with young children.
• Solid basic musicality—you can confidently hold a tune, keep a steady beat, and play an accessible instrument (like acoustic guitar, ukulele, keyboard, or percussion) to lead group singing.
• Experience with youth groups—whether as a private music instructor, camp counselor, daycare assistant, or children's entertainer.
• Reliable availability for after-school hours and Saturday mornings.
• Must demonstrate the ability to run basic sound equipment, tablets and computers

Education, Work Experience and/or Licensure

• Elementary Education
• Music Education
• Early Childhood Education
• Music Therapy

Those who are currently enrolled in a degree program in one of the listed majors will also be considered

• Years of experience in the subject area may be substituted for degree or licensure

Language Skills

• Must be proficient in English speaking and writing skills. Additional language skills a plus.

• Ability to work during the company's normal business hours that includes weekends
