Picture your morning starting when you choose—anytime between 7:00 and 9:00 AM. You step into a clean, organized shop, scan a fresh set of engineering drawings, and plan your first build. A stainless assembly calls for tight-tolerance fits, clean TIG beads, and careful inspection. By mid-morning, you’re teaming with engineers to tweak a prototype for manufacturability. After lunch, you switch to MIG on carbon steel square tubing, knock out a few basic milling ops, and verify dimensions before the part moves forward. It’s hands-on, high-impact work that blends craftsmanship with innovation.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: 1st shift
• Flexible start: 7:00 AM–9:00 AM (8-hour shift)
• Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour

What You’ll Build and Do

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel, including piping and square tubing.
• Fabricate precision components and assemblies from engineering drawings while holding tight tolerances.
• Operate fabrication equipment—bandsaws and general shop machinery—and complete basic milling operations.
• Read and apply engineering drawings, weld symbols, GD&T, and bills of material.
• Inspect finished work to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support product development and improve manufacturability.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe; champion continuous improvement.
• Adapt quickly to evolving prototype designs.

What You Bring

• Proven MIG and TIG welding experience on carbon and stainless.
• Background building precision parts from drawings.
• Hands-on knowledge of shop equipment—bandsaws and basic milling machines.
• Comfort using measuring tools: calipers, squares, tape measures.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a pride in quality workmanship.
• Clear communicator and dependable team collaborator.
• Self-driven with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Preferred

• AWS or equivalent welding certifications.
• Experience in prototype, R&D, or new product development.
• Ability to review CAD files or perform basic CAM programming.
• Sheet metal fabrication or related manufacturing experience.
