Job DescriptionJob Summary (List Format): Manufacturing Engineer – Defense & Aerospace Industry

- Develop and Improve Processes: Design, develop, and refine manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to meet product specifications and quality standards.

- Production Optimization: Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products and optimize production flow by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.

- Equipment Selection & Integration: Evaluate, recommend, and oversee integration of manufacturing equipment and technologies, ensuring compliance with industry and customer requirements.

- Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to drive process improvements, reduce costs, eliminate waste, and enhance quality.

- Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with quality teams to establish and maintain quality control procedures, resolve production quality issues, and implement preventive measures.

- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and components, and assess supplier capabilities and performance.

- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate process documentation, standard operating procedures, and engineering change orders; generate reports on key performance indicators and improvement activities.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-disciplinary teams including design, production, quality, and supply chain to meet production and quality goals.

- Adaptability: Operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adjusting to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering (defense/aerospace preferred).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, additive manufacturing, assembly, testing).
- Familiarity with industry standards (AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability.

Additional Details:
- Location: Hudson, NH (On-site only; remote not allowed)
- Shift: 1st Shift, 9-80 schedule (7:00 AM start)
