Your Mission

Own plant electrical reliability. Bring equipment back online fast, strengthen controls, and elevate safety. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading industrial electrical and automation systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose PLC problems (Allen‑Bradley preferred) and implement fixes; make control logic adjustments when appropriate.
• Maintain, repair, and modify HMIs, PLCs, and VMDs for accurate process control.
• Execute installation projects in partnership with the Process Engineer.
• Quickly analyze and correct electrical malfunctions in equipment and related components.
• Support emergency and routine maintenance, including weekend and off‑shift work as needed.
• Champion safety: follow procedures, participate in plant initiatives, and resolve items flagged by the safety committee and STOP Card program.
• Manage critical spare-part inventory; identify and address gaps proactively.
• Complete monthly computer-based training and uphold all company policies and rules.
• Interpret one-line diagrams and ladder logic; confidently use meters, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders informed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals.

What It Takes

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master License.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing; at least 2 years in electrical maintenance.
• High school diploma.
• Heavy industry experience with electrical systems and production equipment (required).
• HMI experience preferred; training available.
• Allen‑Bradley PLC experience preferred; training available.
• Preventive maintenance systems knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work long or odd hours on your feet and lift 50+ lbs.
