We are a well-established, very healthy and stable precision motion control component manufacturer, in a state-of-the-art facility, doing business for over 50 years. We have a strong customer base and an excellent reputation for quality. We are in search of a machinist to setup and operate medium size CNC lathes – both barfeeders and the person (OKUMA / NAKAMURA).
Pay: $30-$34/hrShift: 1st shiftResponsibilities
- Set up and productively operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations, with the ability to read and edit programs (G codes / M codes)
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
