BOSS ProStaffing has partnered with one of the leading manufacturers in the Western Massachusetts area. We are looking for a Machine operator with the following skills. This person must be able to operate welders, presses and other machines, as well as boxing products and completing any other task that is required. This person must be able to set up and operate machinery. Including but not limited to, Die changes, feeder changes and all necessary machine adjustments while making minor repairs to keep producing quality products. This person must be able to maintain production by keeping the machines loaded and running. It also includes the movement of raw materials to and from machines. The operator is responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of quality and productivity as defined by the managers, standards and goals. They must be able to inspect pieces to ensure the parts are within all specifications. the operator should be able to read drawings/specifications and use micrometers, calipers and scales and apply that information to the parts being produced. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Prior experience and familiarity with machinery include punch presses, welding machines and general parts manufacturing is preferred.Thank you we look forward to bringing you on to our team.
