We have a need for a dispatch assistant for our tow facility. We are looking to fill an immediate need for a full-time position (that includes some holidays and weekends).
Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:
• Dispatching and routing of tow service calls with custom towing software program; following-up on scheduled tow service calls
• Releasing vehicles to customers, salvage companies, body shops
• Assisting customers and insurance representatives
• Accounts Receivable
• Other administrative and shop tasks
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
• Tow industry and regulation compliance knowledge
• DOT regulation compliance knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills, the ability to function well under pressure and ability to deal with difficult situations while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office
• Multitasking skills
• Living locally is a plus
Job Requirements:
• This position is a full-time position; some holidays and weekends
• Must have excellent phone and customer service skills
• Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to do multiple tasks at one time
• Must have ability to defuse high tempered individuals and situations
• Lifting items over 25lbs
• Pay structure will be commensurate with experience
