We are seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality precision parts and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. If you're a self-motivated machinist who enjoys solving machining challenges and producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a team, work to achieve production, quality and schedule goals. G-Code experience a PLUS
Run CNC machines, monitor running products to produce quality products and insure a successful production run.
Set-up and prove out/edit CNC programs.
Provide quality checks utilizing inspection equipment and quality measuring tools.
Document inspected parts in a neat manner for required quality and customer documentation.
Growth opportunities as business grows.
Maintain a safe work environment; identifying improvement areas to anticipate and eliminate hazards
Maintain a positive, performance-oriented team culture

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of CNC lathe/mill programming and setup experience using G-Code.
Ability to independently set up jobs from prints.
Experience with precision machining of aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, and exotic materials.
Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining strategies.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Must be able to pass background screen

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Multi-axis machining experience a PLUS.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience working in ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to carry approx. 30 pounds at times
