Position Details:

Contract runs from August 27, 2026, through December 7, 2026
Part-time schedule: 2-3 days per week
School hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm

What we're seeking:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
Current certification as a school social worker
Previous experience working in school-based settings, particularly with students in Emotional Disturbance (ED) programs, highly valued
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with elementary-aged students, staff, and families
A collaborative approach and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

Provide social-emotional support and interventions for students within the ED program
Conduct individual and small group counseling sessions
Serve as a resource for classroom teachers, collaborating on strategies to enhance student success
Liaise with families to foster positive home-school connections
Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
