Warehouse Assistant – Derry, NH

About This Role:
Perform various duties including moving and storing of company products, materials, and supplies.
Ensuring that all materials are properly located, marked and pulled for issue so that our production areas and vendors can run at their fullest potential of efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work from various reports, locator sheets, packing slips, written and or verbal instructions in performing assigned duties. Fill out and maintain a variety of paperwork as required.
- Must be able to use safely the material handling equipment provided by Fireye; two wheel hand carts, metro carts, hydraulic pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and electric fork lifts, and any other equipment necessary to get the job done.
- Move materials as necessary in performance of duties, as directed. Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual condition to supervisor. Follow established safety and security regulations and maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Pull orders in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully complete assigned tasks on a consistent basis and learn more complex assignments as required.
- Absenteeism must be within parameters set forth by Fireye, display cooperative and responsible behavior which affects the operation of the department and company in a positive manner.
- Consistently comply with standards governing productivity, workmanship, and ISO.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School or equivalent
Minimum of one year data entry experience as well as working in a high-volume stockroom/warehouse.
Must wear steel toe safety shoes.
Required to wear safety glasses when going into a safety glasses designated area.
Lifting: Up to 50 lbs. (if more than 50 lbs. two people are required to perform the lift)
Standing: 100% of the time except for breaks and lunch
Pulling: 20%
Reaching: 20%
Climbing: 10%
Bending: 30%
Twisting: 20
