Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Mechanical Assemblers for our client located north of Boston. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity offering exceptional benefits! The Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for assembling high-precision products of varying complexity under the guidance of a more experienced employee.

Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Mechanical Assembler I Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour, depending on experience
Mechanical Assembler II Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
Mechanical Assembler I Essential Functions:

- Under the direction of a more experienced employee, assemble a variety of subassemblies and standard and unique products using established procedures.
- Perform accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting to meet very close tolerances or precision fits, subject to strict inspection.
- Set up and test complete products to ensure they meet specifications and customer order requirements.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Required Competencies:
- Ability to be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic computer skills
- Detail-oriented
- Understanding of the importance of customer service
Mechanical Assembler II Essential Functions:

- Assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and special products using established procedures.

Required Competencies:
- The ability to multitask in an accurate, timely, and organized fashion
- The ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
- The ability to explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
- The ability to work with colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner
- Must be a quality-minded that takes the initiative to improve product and process performance
- Understanding of the importance of customer service
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to details
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years in an assembly environment
Additional Information:
This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. government contract regulations that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
