Position: Master Scheduler
Location: Massachusetts, MetroWest Onsite, full-time, 5 days a week

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading contract manufacturer in the Defense, Medical, and Electronics industries, is seeking a Master Scheduler to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring that customer requirements are met through effective production planning while balancing material availability, equipment capacity, and workforce resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage master schedules for PCBA and system builds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, production control, manufacturing, engineering, and program management to establish priorities and plan capacity.
- Lock weekly schedules with purchasing and production to ensure timely work order releases and completions.
- Monitor demand changes and update the ERP system accordingly.
- Resolve schedule conflicts by analyzing constraints related to materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Lead schedule review meetings, highlighting risks and necessary adjustments.
- Support ISO standards, 6S initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience managing production schedules for a contract manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems and capacity planning.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- APICS CPIM certification preferred.
