Role Description The Marketing Associate/Proposal Writer is responsible for preparing proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials that communicate the firm’s capabilities and project experience. Daily tasks include coordinating proposal efforts with architects and leadership, conducting market and client research, maintaining marketing and project information, and supporting the firm’s website and social media presence. The role also involves tracking opportunities, assisting with client outreach, and contributing to presentations and other business development activities. The Marketing Associate/Proposal Writer collaborates closely with team members to ensure consistent branding, accurate content, and timely delivery of all marketing and proposal documents.

Qualifications

- Experience in proposal and or grant writing
- Strong visual sense and graphic design ability
- Experience in business development to promote the firm’s services, and enhance visibility
- Effective written and spoken communication skills to collaborate with architects, clients, and partners
- Architectural office experience or training an asset but not required
- Positive and collaborative attitude: you will be working in a team environment

Preferred Technical Proficiencies

- Proficiency with InDesign/ Adobe Creative Suite required
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu preferred
- MS Office
- Proficiency with Revit or CAD not required but encouraged
- Experience maintaining a website with Wix, or another website builder, not required but encouraged
- Experience with AIA Contract software would be an asset
