Power Play Factory Gear is a growing custom hockey uniform and apparel company based in Salem, NH. We work with youth, adult, league, tournament, and semi-pro hockey organizations to outfit teams from head to toe.

We specialize in custom game jerseys, practice jerseys, shells, socks, team apparel, hats, and branded merchandise. Our capabilities include sublimation, tackle twill, embroidery, DTF printing, heat press, screen printing, and custom online team stores.

The Role\n

This isn’t a traditional sales job, and it isn’t just a production job.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll help manage the entire customer experience, from developing relationships with new hockey organizations to quoting, proofing, ordering, producing, and ultimately delivering their gear.

You’ll build relationships with coaches, hockey directors, team managers, players, and parents while also learning the production side of the business.

Production experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person on our equipment, products, and processes.

Sales & Account Management Responsibilities\n

Prospect and develop relationships with youth hockey organizations, clubs, leagues, tournaments, recreational programs, adult leagues, and other hockey organizations.

Build and maintain relationships with coaches, hockey directors, team managers, athletic directors, players, and parents.

Manage customers from initial inquiry through quoting, artwork and proofs, ordering, production updates, and final delivery.

Present our full product line, including jerseys, shells, socks, apparel, hats, team swag, and branded merchandise.

Develop long-term relationships and multi-season team uniform agreements.

Maintain an organized sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects and existing customers.

Attend local tournaments, showcases, games, and hockey events to network and generate new business.

Create and manage custom online team stores where players and families can order merchandise directly.

Meet or exceed monthly and seasonal sales goals.

Provide outstanding communication and customer service throughout the entire process.

Production & Fulfillment Responsibilities\n

You’ll also learn and participate in the hands-on side of producing the products we sell.

Work directly with customers, vendors, designers, and manufacturers to move orders from concept through completion.

Operate heat press equipment and assist with production of custom uniforms and apparel.

Work with DTF transfers, embroidery, screen printing, and other apparel decoration methods.

Prepare and review artwork to ensure graphics are production-ready.

Perform quality-control checks on finished products before delivery.

Assist with order organization, fulfillment, packaging, and delivery coordination.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional production environment.

Help wherever needed during busy hockey and production seasons.

What We’re Looking For\n

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

The right person will:

Communicate well and follow through with customers.

Be able to manage multiple customers, orders, and deadlines at the same time.

Be comfortable prospecting, making phone calls, sending emails, and meeting potential customers face-to-face.

Have a strong customer-service mindset.

Be a self-starter who can work independently while also being part of a team.

Enjoy a combination of sales, customer interaction, and hands-on work.

Have an interest in hockey, sports, and the hockey community.

Be comfortable learning new equipment, software, products, and production processes.

Be able to stand for extended periods and perform normal production and fulfillment tasks.

Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Sales experience is preferred, particularly in sports, apparel, promotional products, uniforms, or a related industry.

Existing relationships within the New England hockey community are a strong plus.

Experience with heat press, DTF, embroidery, screen printing, or apparel production is also a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
