The well-established Seacoast area company is growing and adding new team members in the dispatch department. The primary function of a GSSS Dispatcher is to ensure all routes are running smoothly and customer satisfaction is met. This includes a check-in call required by all drivers daily to verify they will be in to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all drivers check in for each route, routes are running smoothly, and customer satisfaction is met.
- Answer multiple phones and perform multitasking.
- Handle a large portion of clerical work, which requires neat documentation of daily happenings in a log. This log will be distributed to management at the end of your shift.
- Think outside the box and become creative with planning ahead.
- Assist operational staff with projects and act as an administrative backup to the Owner and HR Manager (These assignments may include, but are not limited to, these tasks).
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and electronically.
- A positive and professional attitude with a neat appearance is a must.
- Must be able to answer multiple phones and multi-task.
Preferred Experience
- Communication skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Word: 1 year (Preferred)
- Microsoft Outlook: 1 year (Preferred)
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word & Excel is are key traits.
