Job Summary
Join Birdcode Chicken Hanover, a popular fast-casual, Southern-style chicken restaurant located at 1978 Washington St in Hanover, MA. Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation
- Prepare menu items following recipes and standards
- Work safely around fryers and kitchen equipment
- Filter and maintain fryers as needed
Kitchen Operations
- Assemble and package orders quickly and accurately
- Follow daily checklists for food labeling, dating, and storage
- Receive and organize inventory using FIFO (first in, first out) system
- Complete opening, closing, and deep-cleaning duties
Guest Service
- Greet every guest with genuine Southern hospitality
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service
Restaurant Operations
- Work as part of a team to keep the restaurant running smoothly, especially during busy rushes
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

Quick-service restaurant (QSR) or related restaurant experience preferred
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working around fryers and hot kitchen equipment
Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices
Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs
Weekend availability required

Schedule
Birdcode Chicken Hanover is open daily from 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM. Shifts include:

Opening: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Closing: 4:30 PM – 11:59 PM
AM and PM shifts scheduled to cover lunch and dinner rushes

Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend shifts required.
