Your Responsibilities
As a driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering packages of all shapes and sizes to customers in your community.
- Maintaining excellent customer service and driving skills.
- Adhering to UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform.
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- A valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state).
- The ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions
As a full-time casual package delivery driver, you can expect:
- Workdays that vary between Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.
- Shifts lasting between eight to ten hours.

Note: This is a seasonal role, but it’s a fantastic way to start your journey with UPS. Permanent, full-time delivery drivers can earn an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year, including:
- $0 healthcare premiums.
- Up to seven weeks of paid vacation.
- Paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days.
- Contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan.
