Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials and equipment from suppliers, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.
- Manage supplier relationships and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support monthly supplier scorecards and procurement reporting for leadership reviews.
- Plan material requirements, manage inventory levels, and maintain supplier schedules within ERP systems.
- Monitor material flow and proactively identify supply chain risks.
- Partner with planning teams to communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
- Track and update open purchase orders, delivery requirements, and expedite requests.
- Support supplier performance management and new product/program introductions.
- Resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and assist with invoice reconciliation.
- Manage supplier returns, including NCRs, RMAs, and MRB material processing.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.
- Strong supplier/vendor management experience.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, material requirements planning, and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience purchasing electronic components, PCB assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, or hardware.
- Understanding of data management and database systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or technical supply chain environments.
- Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.
