Health Care Provider Relations & Business Development Liaison

Job Description

The Healthcare Business Development Liaison is responsible for developing strategic relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, behavioral health organizations, case management agencies, senior service organizations, and community partners throughout Western Massachusetts.

This role focuses on building referral networks, increasing community awareness, and promoting VCare's AFC, GAFC, Adult Day Health, and Home Care services.

The ideal candidate already possesses strong connections within the local healthcare community and understands the healthcare landscape, referral processes, and community-based service programs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, discharge planners, and community organizations.
Promote VCare's AFC, GAFC, Adult Day Health, and Home Care programs.
Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
Conduct in-person visits and presentations to healthcare organizations and community agencies.
Attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach activities.
Educate providers and referral sources on eligibility requirements and program benefits.
Track referral activity, partnership development, and outreach efforts.
Work collaboratively with leadership to support growth initiatives and market expansion.
Meet established referral and outreach goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, community outreach, healthcare marketing, or referral development.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Western Massachusetts.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
