Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and addressing any discrepancies with accuracy. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal departments.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee customer collections while maintaining a high level of professionalism and providing consistent follow-ups.
• Reconcile customer accounts by investigating and resolving billing discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting, to address and troubleshoot account issues.
• Regularly review and monitor aging reports to ensure accounts are up-to-date and maintain proper records of all transactions.
• Process customer payments efficiently and prepare detailed reports on payment activities.
• Utilize internal systems for managing accounts, generating reports, and processing transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing collections.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance collection efficiency.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and consumer collections.
• Strong understanding of credit and collection processes, including billing and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in managing aging reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial transactions.
• Familiarity with account management and reporting systems.
• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve billing discrepancies.
