Job Description
The CMM Operator performs dimensional inspection of CNC-machined, aerospace, and automotive components throughout in-process and final inspection workflows. This role executes and edits existing CMM programs, interprets blueprints and GD&T requirements, documents inspection results, and supports accurate, reliable quality measurements.
Responsibilities
- Execute and edit existing CMM programs for component inspection.
- Inspect CNC-machined, aerospace, and automotive components.
- Perform dimensional measurements using coordinate measuring equipment.
- Interpret engineering blueprints and analyze GD&T requirements.
- Complete in-process and final inspections.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
- Support CMM equipment calibration and measurement accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience operating a coordinate measuring machine.
