Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate medium-sized CNC lathes, including both barfeeders and turret lathes, specifically OKUMA and NAKAMURA models.
Pay: $25 - $35/hr
Shift: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Set up and efficiently operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
- Read and edit CNC programs using G codes and M codes.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine required machining operations.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine settings.
- Monitor the machining process to ensure product quality and accuracy.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in CNC lathe operation and CNC machining.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
