Picture your first week: you arrive at our Westfield facility and step into the engine room where mission-critical ammonia systems keep operations running. You’ll survey gauges, review logs, and listen for the subtle cues that tell you how the plant is feeling today. By mid-morning, you’re deep into a preventive maintenance check, and by afternoon, you’ve teamed up with a colleague to diagnose a finicky control signal—closing the loop with clear documentation before you wrap.

Your Impact

• Own the routine care of ammonia refrigeration equipment through scheduled maintenance and detailed inspections.
• Pinpoint issues quickly, troubleshoot root causes, and carry out effective, lasting repairs.
• Champion a safety-first mindset and uphold all applicable regulations and industry best practices.
• Create and maintain precise maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with peers to elevate system efficiency, uptime, and reliability.
• Be ready to respond to emergency calls and complete repairs as needed.
• Support the growth of junior technicians through hands-on training and mentorship.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or refrigeration certification is preferred.
• Documented experience working on ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Solid grasp of HVAC fundamentals and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and schematics.
• Sharp problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
• EPA certification for refrigerants is a plus.
