Construction / Machine Operator
Eastham, MA
$25–$35/hour | Full-Time or Part-Time
Ponderosa Landscaping is hiring experienced Machine Operators to work on landscape construction projects across the Lower and Outer Cape. We’ve been in business since 1979 and run crews that take pride in solid work, efficiency, and doing the job right.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate skid steers, mini-excavators, forklifts, and other equipment
- Assist with landscape construction projects (grading, material moving, site prep, etc.)
- Work with stone, soil, and other construction materials
- Keep equipment running safely and report any issues
- Work alongside crew members to keep jobs moving on schedule
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
What You Need
- 2+ years experience operating heavy equipment (required)
- Background in landscape construction or similar trade work
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment
- Ability to communicate with crew and customers professionally
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and shows up ready to work
- Physically able to handle outdoor, hands-on work
Preferred (Not Required)
- Valid MA Driver’s License
- Hoisting License
- DOT Medical Card
