NEADS Service Dogs is looking for a Director of Development to lead the next chapter of our fundraising growth.
\n
This is more than a development position. It’s an opportunity to build relationships, grow revenue, lead a team, and directly expand the number of people whose lives can be transformed by a Service Dog.
\n
Located in Princeton, MA, NEADS is a nationally recognized nonprofit that trains and provides Service Dogs for people with disabilities, veterans with PTSD, children with autism, and professionals in hospitals, courthouses, and educational settings.
\n
What you'll lead:
\n
• A four-person development team
\n
• Individual, major gift, foundation & corporate fundraising
\n
• A growing donor pipeline and major gift strategy
\n
• Corporate partnerships and sponsorships
\n
• 1–2 annual fundraising events
\n
• Salesforce, development analytics & pipeline management
\n
• Board and CEO engagement in fundraising
\n
• Expansion of NEADS' philanthropic relationships throughout Boston, Worcester & New England
\n
We're looking for someone who:
\n
✔ Has 5+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience
\n
✔ Has a proven record of closing major gifts and achieving fundraising goals
\n
✔ Knows the Massachusetts/New England philanthropic landscape
\n
✔ Is an exceptional relationship builder and storyteller
\n
✔ Leads with emotional intelligence and develops high-performing teams
\n
✔ Uses data and Salesforce to drive fundraising decisions
\n
✔ Is entrepreneurial, strategic, and willing to try something new
\n
✔ Is genuinely passionate about the mission of NEADS and the human-canine bond
\n
Starting salary: $125,000
