A day in this role
The morning begins with a customer design review. You open AutoCAD to refine a set of enclosure layouts and panel graphics for a multi-building life safety project. By midday, you’re collaborating with Sales and Engineering to select the right mix of product solutions—PanelVu, Smoke Control, Graphic Annunciators, Prefab, and Shield—so the system is manufacturable, compliant, and tailored to the customer’s needs. In the afternoon, you’re on a call with Manufacturing to validate wiring diagrams and fabrication documentation, ensuring every detail meets company standards and applicable codes. Before you wrap, you capture drawing revisions, update engineering documentation, and log process improvements that streamline the next project.
