·This Position is for the Rt. 93 North Route – (Part-Time 24-30 hrs. /wk.)
· Vehicle & Cell phone Reimbursements, Mileage Compensation, Equipment and uniforms provided
· Location: Rt. 93 North to include accounts from Tewksbury to Concord, NH Perfect candidate would live in this area
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Passion for plants and love of nature and living organisms
· Ability to lift 20lbs repeatedly throughout the day while bending, reaching and twisting.
· Ability to walk many miles per day throughout offices with a service cart, tools & equipment
· Ability and comfort with climbing /working on ladders while lifting an 8-10lbs watering bucket.
· Highly detail-oriented; cleanliness and tidiness are a must.
· Ability to work independently, but communicate consistently with supervisor
· Reliable vehicle for travel between service locations
· Ability to navigate driving routes and must be comfortable commuting throughout day.
· Formal education, training or experience in tropical plant care preferred; not required. (pay rate commensurate with experience)
DUTIES:
· Maintaining the overall health and aesthetics of plants in interior settings.
· Follows prescribed service route and visits all assigned accounts as scheduled.
· Waters all plants
· Ensures that all plants are clean and free of dust
· Removes discolored leaves; pruning
· Work to eradicate any pest infestations through regular topical and systemic means
· Remove all trash and debris from planters
· Fertilize plants as needed
· Ensure customer space is clean orderly throughout visit (no water spills / debris left)
· Maintains clean and effective tools, equipment, and supplies
· Communicates with customers on a regular basis – Strong customer service skills
· Communicates with supervisor on a regular basis - any changes to account access, plant locations, damage to materials, safety concerns,
· Requests replacement plants promptly when needed.
· Team meetings and training workshops as needed
· Special projects as needed.
