Inside Sales - Junior Producer – Insurance & Financial Services

Full-Time | $43-44,000 Base + Commission + Monthly Performance Bonus = $75-100,0000 Total

Scott Marxer Insurance Agency, Inc. is expanding into Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and we're building the founding team for our new office.

We're looking for motivated, competitive, relationship-oriented people who want more than just another sales job. Insurance experience is not required. We're looking for people with the drive, communication skills, and professionalism to develop into outstanding insurance professionals.

As a Junior Producer, you'll work with customers to understand their needs, explain insurance and financial-services options, develop new customer relationships, and help families protect what matters most.

What You'll Do

· Develop new customer relationships through inbound and outbound sales opportunities

· Conduct needs-based conversations with prospective and existing customers

· Quote and present Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Health and other insurance products

· Identify opportunities to better protect customers and their families

· Follow up consistently with prospects and build a personal sales pipeline

· Ask for referrals and develop relationships within the local community

· Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in agency systems

· Participate in ongoing coaching, role-play, training and professional development

· Work collaboratively with both our Pittsfield, MA and established Poughkeepsie, NY teams

What We're Looking For

We're especially interested in candidates with experience in inside sales, customer service, retail sales, hospitality, banking, automotive sales, wireless sales, recruiting, business development, or other relationship-based sales environments.

Previous insurance experience is welcome but not required.

Licensing & Professional Development

Selected candidates who are not already licensed will be expected to successfully complete the required insurance licensing process prior to beginning the Junior Producer role.

We recognize successful completion of our pre-employment licensing requirements with a $1,000 Pre-Employment Licensing Performance Bonus.

After joining the agency, Junior Producers complete our structured five-week professional training and certification program, The Marxer WayTM, designed to develop the knowledge, communication skills and professional standards necessary to serve customers successfully.

Compensation

· $21/hour base compensation

· Commission on eligible production

· Monthly performance bonus opportunity

· $1,000 Pre-Employment Licensing Performance Bonus for qualifying new hires who successfully complete required licensing
