Job Summary:
We are seeking lively and skilled Mixologists to join our team at both Sevmar Mediterranean Bistro and Jocelyn’s by Sevmar (Methuen, MA).
The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests, and follow our values (Virtue, Intimacy, Boldness, Excellence).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails to customers following standard recipes and using proper techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Skills:
- Must have 2+ years of experience in bartending and mixing cocktails in a high volume restaurant
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems
- Knowledge of Toast POS is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a classy and friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling payments
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in catering or hospitality industry is advantageous
