HiFyve is Hiring CNC Machinists!
Salary: $25 – $35.00/hr (based on experience) + Shift Differentials
Shifts Available (Monday – Friday):
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (+$2.40/hr differential)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (+$3.40/hr differential)
Location: Nashua, NH
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC milling or CNC lathe machines to produce prototype parts with tight tolerances.
• Create CNC programs using Mastercam and prepare CAM files from CAD models, prints, and verbal instructions.
• Perform quick-turn machining with strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections using precision measuring tools to verify part quality.
• Maintain organization of materials, tooling, and job documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure on-time delivery by managing workflow and prioritizing tasks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Complete operator PMs and other assigned tasks as required.
Education & Experience Requirements
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating CNC milling or CNC lathe machines, including setup.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills.
• Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, height gauges, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:
• Experience in a prototype machining environment.
• Familiarity with Mastercam, SolidWorks, and CAD/CAM workflows.
• Demonstrated success supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
