Taunton, MA | Hiring for 4th Shift (7:30 pm – 7:30 am)

  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, and install/dismantle machinery as needed.
  • Weld and pipefit to support equipment reliability.
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment independently.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, support continuous improvement, and keep the work area safe and orderly.
  • Verify outputs meet the Plant’s Quality Management Systems requirements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
  • Work overtime or alternate schedules when required on short notice; perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide and maintain the necessary mechanics’ tools.

What you’ll bring Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
  • Preferred or desired education may be taken into consideration.

Experience

  • Manufacturing experience preferred or proven mechanical aptitude in a production environment.
  • Timely completion of OJT for the specific job classification.
  • Any preferred or desired experience will strengthen your candidacy.

Skills & Attributes

  • Quality-focused craftsmanship and a professional, reliable approach.
  • Ability to work independently from verbal and written instructions.
  • Familiarity with basic computer transactions; able to become a certified SAP User.
  • Strong basic math and communication abilities; commitment to building and maintaining proficiency.
  • Physically able to lift or move 50 lbs., and occasionally 75 lbs.
  • Can distinguish different colors.
