Key Responsibilities\n

  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients via video conferencing platforms, addressing their mental health and emotional needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate treatment plans, and offer psychoeducation to clients and their families.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any changes in client condition within our EHR system.

  • Engage in regular supervision and participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.

  • Stay current with research, best practices, and ethical standards in the fields of social work and mental health counseling.

  • React to crises with appropriate interventions and support, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients, particularly those experiencing life-limiting illnesses requiring supportive counseling. You will engage with a diverse range of patients, including those from minority backgrounds and the LGBTQIA+ community, creating an inclusive environment that respects individual experiences and identities.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • A valid and active LICSW license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
  • \n

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults.

  • Strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.
  • \n

  • Professional malpractice insurance is required.
  • \n

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and an understanding of unique mental health challenges faced by this population.

  • Knowledge and experience in addressing men’s mental health issues, which can often be overlooked in clinical settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
