Job Description

Do you get restless with guesswork and prefer getting your hands on the system to figure it out yourself — fast?
Are you wired to fix what's broken, fine-tune what’s off, and optimize systems others overlook?

If you crave autonomy, take pride in precision, and quietly dominate your domain without needing fanfare or micromanagement... we’re looking for you.

About the Role

We’re hiring an Irrigation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems across high-end residential properties. This is not a plug-and-play install role — it’s for the resident expert who doesn’t guess, doesn’t cut corners, and doesn’t miss.

This is a craftsman’s seat for someone who’s fast, factual, and relentless about getting it right. You’ll own the system from controller to spray head — and keep it performing flawlessly.

Core Responsibilities

1. Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Diagnose and repair all types of irrigation issues: leaks, wiring, valves, sensors, and pressure problems.
  • Use meters, controllers, and common sense to get to the root fast.

2. System Optimization

  • Audit zones for efficiency and water coverage.
  • Fine-tune programming and recommend upgrades when needed.

3. Precision Execution

  • Complete all work to spec — no shortcuts, no loose ends.
  • Keep accurate logs and reports

4. Solo Fieldwork

  • Work independently and efficiently with minimal direction.
  • Communicate clearly with the team when things need escalation — short, sharp, and to the point.

5. Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance

  • Keep your tools in top shape and your rig ready to roll.
  • Treat your service vehicle like a mobile command center — organized, stocked, and efficient.

Ideal Background

  • 2+ years hands-on irrigation experience in install, repair, or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with smart controllers (Rain Bird, Hunter, etc.)
  • Comfortable with wiring, hydraulics, valves, and flow issues.
  • Strong understanding of irrigation diagnostics — you test before you talk.
  • Able to work solo in the field and produce consistent, clean work.

You’ll Love This If You...

  • Prefer doing the work right over talking about it.
  • Want autonomy, not supervision.
  • Can spot a micro-leak before it becomes a callback.
  • Communicate directly, factually, and don’t need fluff to get your point across.
  • Have high standards — and want to be the go-to expert for the systems you touch.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Company van + tools provided
  • 401(k)
  • Continuing education
