Responsibilities of the Controller\n
- \n
- \n
Own the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- \n
Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
- \n
Lead the annual audit and work closely with external auditors.
- \n
Evaluate current accounting processes and implement improvements where needed.
- \n
Oversee and mentor a team of 8, including AP/AR Specialists, Staff Accountants, and Senior Accountants.
- \n
Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications of the Controller\n
- \n
- \n
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
- \n
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- \n
Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
- \n
Sage ERP experience is highly preferred.
- \n
Experience with process improvements or ERP implementations is a plus.
