Generator Service Technician - Experienced
Pay: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience + commission opportunities
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:30am to 4:00pm

What You Will Be Doing:
- Perform scheduled service, preventative maintenance, and new installations of residential standby generators
- Coaching and developing entry-level technicians through hands-on training and guidance
- Complete inspections according to manufacturer recommendations
- Change oil, filters, spark plugs, batteries, and other maintenance-related components
- Document maintenance findings accurately
- Identify potential concerns and communicate recommendations to customers and management
What We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with generator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train less-experienced technicians
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and performing demanding fieldwork as needed
- Generac Certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong mechanical skills with a willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge
- Additional experience with HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, propane, or oil is highly valued
- Valid driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driving history
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
