Job DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development, integration, and deployment of large-scale robotics and industrial automation solutions. This individual will partner closely with engineering leadership, product management, manufacturing, and customer stakeholders to drive complex automation programs from concept through implementation, launch, and sustainment.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in robotics, mechatronics, industrial automation, and program management, with a proven ability to establish program structures, lead cross-functional teams, and successfully deliver highly integrated electro-mechanical systems on schedule and at scale.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience within industrial automation, robotics, mechatronics, or complex capital equipment environments.
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible Program Management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing programs exceeding $50M from initiation through completion.
- Experience leading matrixed, cross-functional organizations of 100+ team members across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
- Proven success developing program management structures, WBS frameworks, critical path schedules, and integrated project plans in emerging or scaling organizations.
- Extensive experience with highly integrated electro-mechanical, mechatronic, robotics, or automation systems.
- Strong experience in system integration, industrial automation deployments, and new product introduction (NPI/NPD).
- Experience managing first-of-a-kind product launches where software, controls, hardware, and manufacturing must converge to meet a common deployment schedule.
- Demonstrated customer-facing program leadership, including contract interpretation, scope management, schedule reporting, acceptance testing, and issue resolution.
- Ability to operate independently with substantial autonomy and influence organizational direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- MBA or advanced business education.
- Experience in retail automation, fulfillment systems, warehouse automation, or autonomous robotics deployments.
- Experience implementing Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.

This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $101.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
