Our year old restaurant is a 2 floors with 150 seats with an attached 100 seat beer garden in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, bringing relaxing vibes with views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Serving inspired comfort food that will be sure to please locals and vacationers alike. Attached is a Beer Garden with 100 seats and featured draft list from established local breweries. The beer garden will feature live music on the weekends and a family / dog friendly space that is a local meeting space and vacationers destination.


We will be offering a competitive salary. We have relationships with a few local apartments that would be available either furnished or unfurnished. To complement the Front of House program, We are looking for a head chef that is willing to focus on inspired comfort food and quality execution. In what will be a high volume environment. They’ll lean on their experience and creativity to bring a dynamic menu, our goal is to build a menu that will turn guests into regulars. The goal being a tight but delicious menu that can be executed with precision and speed during the peak season and then be able to be on the line executing a more fun nuanced menu in the off the months.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the management and FOH teams to ensure quality and safe service.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
  • Plan and execute banquet menus for special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Experiment with new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Hiring of BOH staff as well as implementing a training program to help the team grow.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high volume dining environment or similar culinary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety standards.
  • Experience in supervising kitchen staff and leading a team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members..
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences.

This Job is in Center Harbor New Hampshire a commitment through October is available but a full year round position is preferred
