Job Title: Plating Operator
Job Description
This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn a new manufacturing skill. As a Plating Operator, you will be responsible for plating metal materials using a chemical bath process. This involves reviewing job cards to determine specific requirements for each customer order. You will clean materials to ensure they are free of dust and dirt before processing, and determine the necessary processing time based on the size and density of each piece. Post-processing, you will inspect each part visually to ensure there are no defects.

Essential Skills
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs.
- Capability to follow work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior plating or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers.
- Masking experience.

Work Environment
You will work in a plating department with about 20 colleagues. The second shift runs from 2 pm to 10:30 pm and includes a 10% shift differential. Personal protective equipment, including gloves, glasses, steel-toed shoes, aprons, and arm sleeves, will be provided. The dress code requires jeans and steel-toed boots, which will also be supplied.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
